FAQS

What is CBD?

CBD is one of about 140 cannabinoids found in industrial hemp strains of the Cannabis Sativa plant. Amada CBD products are only sourced from Hemp. This ensures all of our products are legal, safe and non-psychoactive.

We suggest you do your own research on CBD and cannabinoids.

What is the difference between CBD and hemp

Hemp is a variety of cannabis that is grown for food and fibers. CBD is a molecular compound found in the plant’s extracts. Amada Wellness CBD is extracted from a proprietary strain of hemp known as PCR hemp, or phytocannabinoid-rich hemp. This proprietary strain is far richer in CBD and other cannabinoids and terpenes than the basic hemp plant used by most CBD producers.

What does broad spectrum mean?

The term broad spectrum refers to CBD oil products that contain a combination of cannabinoids, terpenes and other beneficial compounds found in hemp. While many CBD oil products are made using CBD isolate, Amada Wellness broad spectrum oils maintain concentrations of the beneficial compounds that are found in the original hemp plant.

What does full spectrum mean?
Full spectrum CBD oil is very similar to broad spectrum CBD — the exception is that full spectrum oil usually retains the trace amounts of THC present in the hemp plant. Legally, though, this amount of THC must always be less than 0.3%.

Does your product contain THC?

Our BROAD spectrum products show 0.0% THC on their lab reports. A FULL spectrum product will have less than 0.3% THC.

Do you test for potency, pesticide, heavy metals, and yeast/mold?

Yes, Amada Wellness products go through a rigorous series of tests by third-party labs to ensure purity and accurate concentrations of cannabinoids.

Are there any contradictions with medication?

Consult your physician regarding any specific medications.

Will I get high?

No, you can’t get high off of Hemp Extract CBD. Our products are all derived from industrial grade hemp, and we have no psychoactive elements in our BROAD spectrum products, meaning NO THC.

How should I store my CBD products and what is the shelf life?

Do not store in direct sunlight for long periods of time. They should be stored in airtight containers or in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Please refer to the product expiration dates for more information.

Our edibles, softgels and tinctures have a shelf life of 18 months.
